Michael J. Wynne was the lead prosecutor in the criminal prosecution of a 36-year Harris County, Texas, constable, who siphoned off public money for his benefit. He was finally caught in the course of an FBI sting and was forced to resign in disgrace. He pled guilty to accepting compensation from private companies in return for unauthorized use of government criminal history databases.
